ABOUT Leach & Russell Mechanical Contractors, Inc. is an Indiana based company providing mechanical contracting in central Indiana. Started in 1994 by Russell Leach & Michael Russell, Leach & Russell Mechanical has developed into one of Indiana's finest mechanical contractors. Our goal is to serve our customers with the best quality of products and workmanship in mechanical services, at a competitive price. We accomplish our goal by using trained, skilled, union craftsmen utilizing the latest technologies, with an emphasis on safety. Our History In 1966, Russell Leach started his career as an apprentice pipe fitter. Completing his five year apprenticeship program, he became a journeyman in 1971. After working as a foreman for several mechanical contractors, he joined J.A. House, Inc. in 1974. Within four years, Leach, as a result of his accomplishments and management abilities, was promoted to Executive Vice President, and in 1991 was made President of J. A. House, Inc. After graduating from Ball State University in 1976 with a B.S. in accounting, Michael Russell, began his career at a large, local public accounting firm in Muncie, Indiana. In 1986, Russell hired in at J. A. House, Inc. as Treasurer and Controller of financial operations where he first met Russell Leach. Over the next eight years, Leach and Russell developed a close relationship. In 1994, they established their own mechanical construction company, Leach & Russell Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Now a veteran of the industry, Leach & Russell has become one of Indiana's leading mechanical contractors performing over $25,000,000 annually. As a company celebrating its' 15th anniversary, Leach & Russell has continued to grow at an advantageous rate, with increased revenues in both the construction and in the service departments. Our Target Market Leach and Russell Mechanical Contractors, Inc., wishes to distinguish itself from its competitors by better understanding the needs of its customers and maintaining a good relationship with owners, general contractors and subcontractors. We hope that owners and general contractors will seek our services, as we will consistently provide a quality product, with a safe working environment, and at a lower price than our competition. Once we have established a good customer base, we intend to initiate a strong service and preventive maintenance program.
