Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences

Completed 2013.

It had been more than 100 years since a medical school was built in Indiana. The Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences houses Indiana’s first College of Osteopathic Medicine and Marian University’s School of Nursing. The 140,000 SF facility designed by Schmidt Associate is LEED certified and includes lecture halls, classrooms, offices and lab space. One of the unique features of the facility includes an 18,000 square foot simulation and skills lab to mirror hospital and physicians’ office environments. A 5,000 square foot state‐of‐the‐art anatomy lab is also included in the building.

Franciscan St. Francis Health Women & Children’s Center

Four-story multi-phase interior renovation of a 119,000 SF facility includes new lobby, postpartum suites, labor and delivery rooms and neonatal intensive care rooms. Current.

St. Vincent Anderson Hospital Surgery Expansion

This project combined two existing surgery entities into one 38,000 SF state-of-the-art center with the latest technology. Required relocation of 60-inch combination sewer line within the footprint of the building expansion. Completed 2014.

Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences

This LEED Certified, 140,000 SF facility at Marian University houses lecture halls, classrooms, offices and laboratory space for the College of Osteopathic Medicine and School of Nursing. Completed 2013.

IU Health Saxony Medical Center

Construction of a 300,000 SF 44-bed acute care hospital, sleep center and medical office building in Fishers. Completed 2011.
